Herefordshire Housing is committed to openness and transparency. Our Openness Statement provides full information about our work, and sets out the requirements which all members of HHL’s Board and Committees and colleagues follow in accounting openly for HHL’s actions and performance.

Annually, our financial viability is assessed by the regulator. Our Regulatory Judgement for 2013 is as follows:
G1 – The provider meets the requirements on governance set out in the Governance and Financial Viability standard.
V1 – The provider meets the requirements on viability set out in the Governance and Financial Viability standard and has the capacity to mitigate its exposures effectively.

Declarations of interest
We are also publishing all individual payments over £500 made to suppliers and contractors. Where information is commercially sensitive or of a personal nature (e.g. compensation payments to residents) we have not disclosed payee details and have listed as ‘redacted’ which means the information has been withheld.
Our Board has ultimate responsibility for ensuring that HHL’s policies and procedures maintain the highest standards of probity. A copy of our Probity Policy can be viewed here:-
One of the key requirements of our Probity Policy is that colleagues and Board Members declare any interests (such as holding a HHL tenancy, or relationships with other colleagues or Board Members) and these are reviewed annually.
